  【设计意图】先播放美国飞鱼菲尔普斯的视频,吸引学生的注意力。然后以学生感兴趣的“爱好和特长”为主题与学生展开自由对话,以此复习句型Do you like…? Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.并引出本单元句型Can you …? Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.
  Step 2: Learn to read the new words of Unit 1. (P121)
  1. The Ss read the new words alone and mark the difficult words.
  2. The Ss read the difficult words according to their phonetic symbols and deal with the pronunciation problems in groups of 4.
  3. Get No.3 of each group to read the new words to the class, the others listen. Any student can stand up to correct some pronunciation mistakes. If necessary, the teacher can offer help.
  4. Play the tape for the Ss to listen and correct their pronunciations.
  5. Get the students to read the words by reading like a poem.
