Step1. Asdents to do“Thint it”
How often do you make phone calls to your friend?
Is it hard to understand your friends when they speak English? If so, what can you ask them to do?
Step2. Play the audiotape, ask the students to read the text after the tape.

1． How often do you make phone calls to your friend? 你多久和你朋友通一次电话？
1）.How often 多久，多么经常。这是就动作频率提问的疑问副词。 其回答通常是once a week, twice a month, three times a day等这样的频度副词。
--How often do you write to your parents? 你多久给你的父母写一次信？
--Once a month. 一月一次。
--How often do they have a sports meeting? 他们多久开一次运动会？
--Twice a year. 一年两次。
2）make phone calls to…给…打电话
关于打电话的表达方式很多，除此之外，还可以用call sb., phone sb., ring sb. up等。
I will call you if he comes. 如果他来，我就给你打电话。
Did you phone Lucy? 你给露西打电话了吗？
He often rings me up late at night. 他经常晚上给我打电话。
Jim makes a phone call to his friend. 吉姆给他的朋友打电话了。
