KEYSTEPS
Step 1:.Introduce the concept of pet to the class in Chinese or in English.,Can anyone tell me:what a pet is? Then ask the class:"Do you have pets in your home? What kinds of pets have you seen in home:
Step 2:Have the students read the text silent]ly.Ask if they have any questions.Encourage other students to try to answer the questions.Do thre exercises2 on the activity book.
Step 3:Note the difference between the words. Explain the main points or the problem they have.
Step 4: Play the audiotape and ask the students to follow it while it read the text. Then discuss the text again.
Step 5:Then get the students to read the text one sentences by one sentences loudly and carefully.
Step 6:Act out thetext.Divide the class into groups of three.Thethreemembers of each group can chooseto beJemy,Brian or Danny.
