I. Analysis of the New Curriculum (课标分析)
Guided by the conception of the new Curriculum, this lesson is designed to develop students’ speaking, reading and writing ability as well as the ability of logical thinring the procedures of the lesson, students are guided to fulfill tasks by themselves or by cooperating with others.
II. Analysis of the teaching material (教材分析)
This chapter is a story about that a dog saved his master in a fire. The whole story develops in the form of a dialogue, emphasizing the friendship between human beings and pets.
III. Analysis of the students (学生分析)
Most of my students are the top students in my school. Most of them are interested in learning English, especially enthusiastic on acting a play. Therefore, during the teaching procedures, I focus on developing their reading ability and providing a chance for them to show their talent in acting so that their motivation and interest in English will increase. Meanwhile, they will be guided to develop their creativity and spirit of cooperation.
