教材分析[Analysis of the Teaching Material]
The topic of this unit is talking about daily schedules and activities, the main task is to help students describe their daily activities and help students write an e-mail to present their likes and dislikes by filling a happiness chart.
In Welcome to the unit, students are encouraged to have a free talt their daily schedules and activities.
The reading text is an e-mail about Millie’s school life.
In Vocabulary, students are required to expand their vocabulary about leisure activities.
The subject form and the object form of personal pronouns are the main focus of the grammar study in Grammar.
In Integrated skills, students are encouraged to scan posters in information,listen to a radio programme about different places and select the right information about location, open hours and days and price.
Students should use rising voice with ‘Yes/ No’ questions and master the different pronunciation of ‘- (e)s’ endings in Pronunciation.
The Main task is to complete a happiness chat, discuss likes and dislikes and write an e-mail to your e-friends about your school life.
Chect encourages students to revise all the contents of this unit.
This unit develops` listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills and writing skills.
1. Listening skills Listen for general information in a radio programme about attraction
Identify specific details about prices and opening hours
Select relevant information to make decisions and arrangement
2. Speaking skills Use everyday expressions to ask for permission
Discuss the reasons for one’s likes and dislikes
3. Reading skills Get the general impression of Beijing Sunshine Secondary School
Guess what the general meanings of the words are from looking at pictures and keywords
Understand feelings, likes and dislikes
Identify specific information about school life and activities
4. Writing skills Generate ideas for the purpose of giving personal information in an e-mail
Select ideas and express them in complete sentence
Say why you like or dislike something
