教材分析:
Unit 8 Save Our World! 重点谈论关于环境保护的话题,尤其关注了世界上年轻人对环保的态度和做法。他重点剖析了北美国家的污染程度、垃圾种类以及来源,并且探讨了一些切实可行的减少污染的方法。同时,号召学生们行动起来减少身边的污染。
通过前四课对garbage的学习,同学们已经掌握了如何给垃圾分类,以及比较多与少,为本课第一部分学习做了铺垫,同时也是对前四课的简单回顾。倡议学生减少浪费,节约资源,回收重新使用再生能源。第二部分,讲空气污染问题。环保话题是一个实际性的话题,因此,青年学生有必要关注身边的环境保护问题,并以身作则,采取措施来保护自己周边的环境,从而更好的建设自己的祖国。

(板书,并让学生观察I think引导的宾语从句,否定前移,I don’t think…)
It’s not right to waste things.
(让学生运用上面所学宾语从句否定形式来转换本句)
I don’t think it’s right to waste things.

We can take short showers to save water.(板书标题)
We waste paper, water, glass, metal….

否定形式特点:I think 引导宾语从句否定前移。
I don’t think it’s right to waste things.
We should use both sides of paper.
We should turn off the water.
Fix the leaky tap./sinks/toilet. 以旧导新,运用旧知识学习I think 引导的宾语从句。激起学生的学习兴趣。
复习导入标题。
