　　教材分析：
　　Unit 8 Save Our World! 重点谈论关于环境保护的话题，尤其关注了世界上年轻人对环保的态度和做法。他重点剖析了北美国家的污染程度、垃圾种类以及来源，并且探讨了一些切实可行的减少污染的方法。同时，号召学生们行动起来减少身边的污染。
　　通过前四课对garbage的学习，同学们已经掌握了如何给垃圾分类，以及比较多与少，为本课第一部分学习做了铺垫，同时也是对前四课的简单回顾。倡议学生减少浪费，节约资源，回收重新使用再生能源。第二部分，讲空气污染问题。环保话题是一个实际性的话题，因此，青年学生有必要关注身边的环境保护问题，并以身作则，采取措施来保护自己周边的环境，从而更好的建设自己的祖国。
