课堂设计指导思想:
本节课是一节听力课,是本单元Task部分的第一课,包括了Silding 1 & 2和Step 1 & 2等内容,任务以了解、反映Computer room中存在的设备老旧等现象为主线,涵盖了听、说、读、写四方面,以听、说为主,读、写为辅,以读促听。听力是一个较为复杂的信息输入、信息加工和信息输出的过程。听力课既要注重听力训练,也要从读、写、说等方面促进听力能力的提高。
Teaching aims:
1. Learn how to distinguish between facts and opinions.
2. Learn how to ask for information.
3. Read a letter and complete a note sheet.
4. Find out more about the computer room after listening to an interview and forming a dialogue.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in(PPT page 4,鼠标点击,逐条显示,动画效果需要时间,点击稍慢,下同)
Tell students that they will:
1. Learn how to distinguish between facts and opinions.
2. Learn how to ask for information.
3. Complete a note sheet after reading a letter.
4. Listen to an interview.
5. Work in pairs and practice what they have learned orally.

Step 2 Silding 1: distinguish between facts and opinions
1. Asdents to read the guidelines and the two parts in Silding 1 on page 52 and ask the following questions:
(1) What is a fact?
(2) What is an opinion?
Answers
(1) A fact is a piece of information that is proved to be true.
(2) An opinion is a feeling or belief that is not founded on certainty or proof.
2. Asdents to read the seven sentences in Part A on page 53 and decide whether they are facts or opinions.(PPT page 6-8,鼠标点击,显示任务要求;page 7-8显示题目及答案)
