  一、教学目标与要求
  通过本单元教学,学生领略和感受英国著名作家柯南道尔侦探小说中复杂的情节和神探福尔摩斯的机智勇敢。学生在理解课文的基础上,能运用自己组织的语言复述故事,或以故事中不同人物的角度,描述事情的经过;通过对话课的学习与操练,复习表达良好祝愿的常用语句;学习并初步掌握过去分词作定语和状语的用法;正确完成练习册安排的练习。
  二、教学重点与难点

  Ⅱ.课堂教学设计
  1.教师通过向学生提出以下问题导入本课:1)If you have something that you want to inform somebody,what would you do?(Make a phone call;tell him/her directly;ask some-body to send a message;write to him/her,etc.)2)Just now we talt some ways that we may choose when we want to tell other people something.Now let’s listen to the di-alogue and see what ways those people use.
  2.准备放对话录音。借助投影片打出以下听前提问:1)How many people are talking?2)Where does Dr.Zhangcome from?3)What is the message in the conversation?
  放录音一至两遍,请学生回答上述问题,教师予以必要订正。
