  Details of procedures :
  Step 1 : warming up exercises :
  A game : The teacher touches objects around the students , and ask the students to shout out their names in English . The game is to test the basis of students .
  Step 2 : lead in
  Make a short self- introduction , using “ Good morning … ” “ My name is … ”
  “ Nice to meet you ! ” “ Hello ”
  Tell  the students that those practices are frequently used in introduction or greetings .
  Step 3 : Elicitation
  Lead the students to know two new friends , Kangkang  from China , Michael from U.S.A. They never know each other before they come to the same school .
  Elicit the students to listen what they are going to talk when the meet each other in the school .
  Listen to the tape twice , finish 1b .
  Step 4 Drill
  Have students make dialogue by themselves :
  A : Hi , what’s your name ?
  B : My name is …
  A : Welcome to China .
  B : Thanks
  Give students several minutes to prepare a dialogue whit their partners , then ask some pairs to perform .
  Ask some pairs to map a new dialogue according to different situations. ( at school  ,  at railway station ,  at airport …)
  Step 5 Practice pronouncing letters ( A – G ) according to cards , then introduce rules for writing letters .
  Step 6 Listen , read and say
  Have students finish listening to the tape .
  Step 7 Useful expression
  3.Good morning , class ! 同学们,早上好。
  句中是教师对全班同学的称呼, 类似的还有 : boys and girls ; everyone 等。
  4.Good morning !
  5.早安!这是西方人在上午见面打招呼的用语, 一般从早晨到中午都可以使用 ,其应答用语相同 。
  例如: A : Good morning !
  B : Good morning !

  Details of procedures :
  Step 1 : Warming-up exercise and revision :
  Game :  Passing a toy-ball until the English song is stopped . The student who holds the ball in hand will be asked to create a dialogue according to provided situation .
  Step 2 : Lead- in
  1.)Ask one student to go to the blackboard , and communicate with the teacher :
  T : Good morning / afternoon .
  S : Good morning / afternoon .
  T : My name is Jennifer . What’s your name ?
  S : My name is …
  T : Hello !
  S : Hello !
