  Starter Unit 1 Good morning!

  任务型教学法、情景交际法、自主学习与合作学习相结合

  Step 1: Greetings
  The teacher wears a name card with an English name on it, then points to the name card and makes a self-introduction.
  T: Welcome to my class. I’m your new teacher,... What’s your name?
  Give students several minutes, and invite every student to stand up to do a self-introduction for the whole class.

  Step 2: Lead-in
  Listen to the ABC song.
  T: This is our first class. We’ll learn how to greet each other simply. Before learning, let’s listen to a song.
  Play the tape of the ABC song first, and asdents to listen carefully. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
  Then play it again, asdents to repeat after the song.
  Later, sing the song together.
  Step 3: Presentation
  1. Teach activity 1a
  (1) Asdents to open their textbooks, look at the picture carefully and find out the answers to the following questions:
  What can you see in the picture?
  How many students are there in the picture?

  2.Show the pictures to review the eight names learned. Ask the students to read the English names first and then put them in order according to the first letter.
  3. Review how to write the letters correctly.
  Step 2: Presentation
  1. Teach activity 3a
  T: First, have a quick look at the three pictures in 3a. Then tell me what you can see in these pictures, and what are they doing. Now let’s listen to the tape.
  (1) Play the tape for the first time. The students listen only and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
  (2) Play the tape again and ask the students to number the conversations.
  (3) Check the answers with the whole class.
