　　1.Learn to grasp the gist(要点) by catching the topic sentences and some key words and at the same time make some notes when necessary.
　　2. Use some adjectives / sentences to describe a woman that you admire or like and make a dialogue.
　　Step 1  Warming up and lead in
　　1) A photo of a lady in China.
　　2) Enjoy a short video and thint some problems women are facing in their careers.
　　Step 2  Before listening
　　Task 1  Answer two questions after watching the video.
　　1）Do you think women are treated equally in their careers?
　　2）Do you think women can get the same salary(薪水) as men in the same job ?
　　Some words/phrases in the listening material, it will help you understand the material better.

　　Task 1 结合视频，回答左边问题，各环节由小组竞赛的形式作答，每次回答最快且正确的小组得分。

　　Step 3  While listening
　　Task 1  Listening for the first time: listen to grasp the gist(要点) by catching the topic sentences and some key words and make some notes when necessary.
　　Task 2  Listening for the second time: listen to find out the main idea--fill in the blanks with correct word forms.

　　3）A leader in modern Chinese history who concerned herself with welfare projects, especially for women and children.                            
　　4）A woman who discovered radium , the only woman scientist who was awarded two Nobel Prizes.                                               
　　5）A Chinese house-wife, the greatest and the most beautiful woman in the world.       
　　Task 3   Dialogue making : choose one woman you admire to describe.
　　Mulan, Wu Zetian, Lin Qiaozhi, Soong Chingling, Marie Curie, Jane Goodall,
　　Peng Liyuan, My mother.
　　1）use some adjectives: beautiful, great, hard-working, energetic, active, determined, intelligent, fair, generous, kind, helpful, modest, confident, brave, honest, considerate, unselfish, devoted, educated, warm-hearted...
　　2）make a dialogue with your partner, you may start a dialogue like this:
　　A: Which woman do you admire most?        B: I admire.…………most.
　　A: What does she look like?                 B: She is…………
　　A: Why do you admire her most?             B: Because she…………
　　A: What did she do to impress you most?       B: She…………
　　A: Would you like to carry on her good work?   B: Yes, of course./ No, I won't. Since………
　　Task 4  Promotion  Oral practice----change the dialogue you made into a short passage.
　　Born in China /……, ××× is a woman that I admire most. She is……, ……and ……. She works as a ……, after going through many ……, she finally achieved success. She got high praise for her wors as she is, she cares little about ……. It is her …… that makes her a …… woman in the world. Task 1 听材料后讨论：你是否同意女性在职业中比男性面临更多的困难并说出理由，每句1-2分。 自创句子每句至少可加2分。
　　Task 2 结合前面的内容：女性虽然在工作中有不平等，世界上仍然有很多杰出的女性，根据每句的描述，猜出这位女性的名字，每个1分。
　　Task 3 在这些成功的女性或者你心目中，找出一位你最钦佩的并对她进行描述，可参考左边的形容词和对话模式进行。每对句子2分，自创对话每对句子可加3分或更多。
　　Task 4 把你上面的对话内容用一段话的形式口头表述出来，提升自己的口语表达能力。
