Step 1 Introduce the concept of “heroes”by asking Ss questions.
1. Who is your hero / heroine?
2. Who do you admire most in your heart?
Step 2 Present pictures of some famous people: astronauts of Shenzhou 10, Confucious, Matin Luther King, Madam Curie, Qian Xuesen, Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, Zhang Lili.
Step 3 Work in pairs. Let Ss look at the picture of Deng Yaping and talt her.
