教学目标
1.Language aims
To learn the basic words , phrases and sentences related to “volcano” and pay attention to the “V-ing” form in the text
2.Ability aims
To learn the reading smmarizing and summarize the text
3 Emotional aims
To pay attention to the writer’s attitudes towards his job and taste his enthusiastic and positive feelings
教学重难点
Summarize the writer’s job and conclude the writer’s feelings .
教学过程:
Step 1:Lead-in
T:I am here today because my job is to stay and study with you ,just like the character in the picture.(幻灯片播放各个职业的图片) Among these jobs,what characteristics do you think an ideal job should have ? (学生讨论)
Ss: I think an ideal job should be ___________ etc.
T: what about coming here and working like this man ?(导入火山学家工作的图片)
Ss:Yes/No.
T: Now let’s read the text and after reading I thin will have a better understanding of what an ideal job is .
Step 2: Skan the text to find the main idea of the passage/the text .
(设计意图:培养学生分析、总结和概括文章大意的能力。)

Part II 1 Consider: Why is the lava that flows on Mount ea mo课后反思
上了这样一节录播课,把自己的一举一动都记录下来,让老师这个“当局者”迷的人对自己有一个新的认识,就像一面镜子让我们能更好的反思自我。通过这节课,我真正认识到了台上一分钟,台下十年功。自己的声音大小,语音语调以及学生的反应都跃然于屏幕。总之这节课上下来,基本完成了预定的教学任务。因为是这是一篇记叙文的阅读理解课,学生非常容易掌握而且能够体会出文章中作者对这份工作的执着和热情。本节课重点在于学生阅读和口语表达的能力。学生积极性很高,讨论也很热烈,能主动发言。课文通过略读,扫读,默读和诵读,能够掌握。Interview环节可以看出对文章的把握还是不错的。
由于课堂容量还是偏大,在授课过程中留给学生巩固的时间不是很充分,最后用英语表演交流的环节也没能有充足的时间让更多学生来展示。
