ⅠAnalysis of teaching material
The central topic in this unit is food and the main language program is to talt likes and dislikes.Grammatical structures are present tense , Yes / No questions and short answers, affirmative and negative statements.The lesson includes two parts:section 1 mainly deals with the basic sentence structure :"Do you have...? ""Do you like...? "and answers"Yes,she/he does.No,she/he doesn't."And in section 2, it provides a real situation for the Ss to practice the pattern. Also, students could be familiar with the classification of food.
In conclusion, this unit mainly focuses on food and starts activities about likes and dislikes.From the basic language teaching material contents to language integrated use , the teaching procedure enables students to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Ⅱ Teaching aims
1. Aims on the knowledge
(1) To enable the students to understand and speak: “Do you like bananas?Yes,I do./Do she like bananas? No, she doesn't.” Mare that students can use these sentences in real situations.
(2) To help Ss to finish the conversation.
2. Aims on the abilities
(1) To develop students' abilities of listening and speaking.
(2) To train the students' ability of working in groups.
(3) To foster students' abilities of communication and their innovation.
3. Aims on the emotion
(1)To foster students' consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition.
(2) To lead students to show their loveliness to the poor.
III. Key-points of this lesson
(1) To help students ask and answer the question:
Do you like bananas?Yes, I do.
(2) To enable students to study in groups and co-operate slly.
(3) To develop students' interest in English.
IV. Difficult points of this lesson
(1) To help the Ss ask and answer the question “Does she like bananas?” and mare they can use the plural nouns correctly.
(2) To finish the conversation by themselves.
V. Teaching methods
As we all know, the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson I’ll mainly use “Task-based”
