  一.教学目标:
  1.知识目标:a 掌握本单元词汇
  b 理解本单元语法知识-------whose引导的定语从句。  
  2.能力目标:a 能复述Tony的经历以及他的同学在他有困难时的做法。
  b 能用学过的知识谈论有关运动及如何保持健康的问题。
  3.情感目标:通过学习,使学生热爱运动,热爱健康。
  二.教学内容:
  1. Key vocabulary ------ ache, exercise, weight, give up, interest
  2. ctures ------ The restrictive attributive clause with whose
  三.教学方法:
  PWP
  四.教具:
  Tape  recorder, multi-media
  五.教学步骤:
  Step1 Guide into the new lesson.
  Say something about the health. We know that health is very important for us. But how can we keep healthy? Let the students think of the question and give the answer. (导入新课,引出关于健康的话题。)
  Step2 Look at the pictures in Activity 1. Ask what are they doing?
  They are doing Taijiquan/running/weight training.
  Which is the best way to keep fit? Let the students talt it in pairs. Before they talk, read through the words in the box with the whole class. Let them repeat the words and understand its meaning. Then use the words to talk. (学生集体讨论图画中的人在做什么,以及哪种是最好的保持健康的运动方式。并且集体读方框中的词汇,并运用新词汇谈论问题。) 
  Step3 Different people have different ideas. Listen to the tape, find what Betty and Lingling think. Check the best ways for them. Ask the students to describe how the people keep fit and why it is the best. (听听力材料,在课文表格中勾出Betty 及Lingling的观点,并两人一组讨论原因)
  Step4 Say something about the conversation in Activity 3.Today Tony and his classmates are together to talt exercise. Asestion:
  What does Tony do to keep healthy?
  What does his classmates think of it?
  Ask the students to listen to the conversation and follow it in their books. Stop playing while necessary for the students to repeat. Find the answers to the questions in Activity 4. Check with the whole class. (引入Activity 3的对话教学,让学生针对提出的问题去听录音,并跟读对话。回答Activity 4 中的问题,集体讨论问题答案。)
