  第二讲 如何写记叙文的主体

  一、题型特点
  读写任务型作文的主体部分一般要求写120词左右,通常包括两部分:一是衔接过渡语;二是论证自己的观点或描述类似的事例。
  1.衔接过渡语:写完摘要后要用一句过渡性的语句引出自己的观点(赞成或反对)或类似的事例。
  2.论证观点或描述事例:对文中的观点进行对比论证,并提出自己的观点;描述事例时要紧扣文章主题,所描述的事例能够与文章观点契合。
  二、写作技巧
  出现在读写任务中的记叙文要求考生描述一件与原阅读材料有关联的事件,并说出自己从事件中得到的教训或对所描述现象发表自己的看法。
  1.写作步骤
  衔接过渡描述事件发表看法
  2.常用过渡语句
  (1)This reminds me of the similar experience.
  (2)This story brings me back to an event many years ago.
  (3)I had a similar experience.
  【典例示范】 请阅读下面的短文,并按照要求用英语写一篇150词左右的文章。
  (2018•盐城高三二模)I was on my way to the Taiyetos Mountains.The sun was setting when my car broke down near a remote and poor village.Cursing my misfortune,I was wondering where I was going to spend the night when I realized that the villagers who had gathered around me were arguing as to who should have the honor of receiving me as a guest in their house.Finally, I accepted the offer of an old woman who lived alone in a little house.While she was getting me settled into a tiny but clean room, the head of the village was tying up his horse to my car to pull it to a small town some 20 kilometres away where there was a garage.
  I had noticed three hens running free in my hostess’s courtyard and that night one of them ended up in a dish on my table.Some villagers brought me goat’s cheese and honey.We drank together and talked merrily till far into the night.
  When the time came for me to say goodbye to my friends in the village, I wanted to reward the old woman for the trouble I had caused her.

  The story I read tells us that when the writer’s car broke down near a faraway village, he got help from all the villagers and felt grateful for how he had been treated.
  I was moved by the story.Nothing is more impressive and unforgettable than being offered help or helping others in trouble. Since we are living under the same roof, there’s no doubt that we need to care about other people and support each other, especially when time is hard.
  In these two years, there have been many disasters striking different parts of our country, causing thousands of people suffering pains of losing homes. I remembered when Yiliang Earthquake took place, many of us donated money for people there. A beggar without legs, who was just able to earn his bread by begging for money, donated all his savings to help Yiliang people. Hearing the story and watching all about this on TV, we were moved to tears. Why not hold out your helping hand to those who are suffering?
  To give is to receive. What you give is the best gift for whoever are waiting for the help.

  第六讲 由“表”析“理”,成就图表类

  一、题型特点
  1.图表类书面表达常以曲线图形式、流程图形式、柱形图形式、饼式图形式、数据表格形式及平面图形式出现。这类题型具有文字少、信息简洁、要点分散等特征。图表类书面表达在近年的高考中时有出现,主要是一些关于情况调查、生产、销售、发展进程等各种项目统计的示意图。
  2.图表作文主要是介绍或说明某方面的情况,文体上属于说明文。
  3.考生应按照说明文的形式和特点来进行写作。由于这类试题文字少、信息简洁,如果只是把图表中的内容一点一点地记叙出来,进行清单式的罗列,就会索然乏味,并且达不到字数要求。因此,对于这类形式的书面表达,考生首先要根据图表前的文字说明,弄清楚图表的性质、内容、规律。
  二、写作技巧
  1.细读图表,抓住特征
  图表中的数据信息往往较多,首先要读懂其中的符号和数字所代表的意思。然后,从图表的整体着手,认真分析各项数据,抓住其主要特征,弄懂它们所揭示的规律。经常使用的词汇有:table,chart,figure,graph,describe,tell,show,represent等。
  2.认真审读,确定主题
  认真审读试题所提供的数据信息,结合文字提示,确定短文的主题。短文的主题往往隐含在图表中,需要考生从图表数据中概括出事情或事件的规律和特征,然后归纳出主题。有时,试题给出了短文的题目,也就等于为考生点明了主题。
  3.巧用数据,突出主题
  引用数据说明基本趋势,比较数据揭示基本特征。由于图表中的数据信息较多,写作时要巧妙地引用一些数据来说明主题,不要作任何发挥。表达时,既要包含所有要点,但又不能面面俱到。经常使用的词汇有:rise,drop,reduce,increase,decrease,fall,while,but,on the contrary,however,compare...to/with...,in contrast to,as...as,the same as,similar to,different from,difference between,among,more than,less than等。
  4.词句多变,表达灵活
  由于图表数据比较单调,很容易使人选用相同的词语
  和句式进行表达,结果文章显得很乏味。因此,写作时要尽量避免重复使用同一词语或句型,选择一些异曲同工的词语和句式来表达。
  5.适当发挥,表明观点
  图表类书面表达有时要求考生在对数据进行分析、对比后,简单地谈谈自己的看法或提出建议,这属于让考生自主发挥的部分,更是短文最精彩的部分。考生要在该部分陈述自己的看法,表明自己的观点,提出解决问题的方法或建议。表述观点时,可以引用人们普遍的观点,也可说出自己独到的见解。借题发挥时,不可偏离主题,只要把观点表述清楚即可,不必作更多的解释或说明。经常使用的词有:in a word,in short,generally speaking,It’s clear from the chart that...,we can draw the conclusion that...,we can learn/know...等。
  【典例示范】  (2017•江苏卷)请认真阅读下面有关我国电影票房收入(box-office income)的柱状图及相关文字,并按照要求用英语写一篇150词左右的文章。

  第三讲 如何写议论文的主体

  一、题型特点
  议论性读写任务型作文指的是根据阅读材料所描述的某一事件、现象、观点或话题发表个人观点、意见和建议的一类读写任务,其实质就是要求考生根据题目要求写议论文。
  二、写作技巧
  英语议论文有其独特的框架结构,能让读者迅速捕捉作者的观点和思路,值得考生模仿。写作时应注意以下几点。
  1.运用过渡语进行衔接过渡
  过渡/引出话题 There is no doubt that...
  It can not be denied that...
  No one can ignore the fact that...
  From what is mentioned above, we know...
  提出观点 From my point of view...
  As far as I am concerned...
  I hold the view/belief that...
  Personally, I believe that...
  表达立场 Actually, I am in favour of the idea that...
  In some way, I am against the thought that...
  2.采用多种论证方式进行分析
  议论文在写作手法上以议论为主,如通过对比观点、阐述原因、列举例子等,但有时也要运用说明、叙述、描写等手法。议论中的说明常为议论的开展创造条件或为议论作补充;叙述和描写应是为论点提供依据,因此,叙述应该是概括的,描写应该是简要的。常用的句式有:
  总述原因 There are several reasons that contribute to...
  My views are based on the following reasons.
  分层论述 To begin with/First of all...Besides/Furthermore/...Finally/Last but not least...
  On the one hand...On the other hand...
  For one thing...For another...
  列举例子 Take...for example.
  For example/instance...

  What impresses me most is that...
  分析因果 Thanks to/Owing to/Because of...
  Consequently/Therefore/Thus/As a result...
  讨论后果 Just imagine what would be like if there were no...
  3.结尾总结升华,重申观点
  在文中或文末,考生可以用不同的语言重申主题或提出解决问题的建议,从而使文章结构严谨、主题鲜明。常用的句式有:
  (1)To sum up/In short/In conclusion/On the whole/All in all...
  (2)Taking all the factors into account, we can draw a conclusion that...
  (3)From the discussion above, it can be safely concluded that...
  (4)Therefore, it is necessary for us to...
  (5)To be brief, we should be aware of the importance of...
  (6)Only when we/Only by..., can we...
