  试卷二
(2017•湖南省衡阳市高中毕业班联考)I was always the joker, the one who could make people laugh by some jokes. I was 1 very  popular but people liked having me around. However, it all changed when I changed schools. I used to man of everybody with my 2 friends. We 3 whispered others’ names when they walked past us to make it look 4 we were talking about them. 5, my new “friends” always kept 6 and would never say the things as we did before. So if you 7 any of them to 8 me in one word, it would probably be: MEAN.I was never your normal high school mean girl. I never understood why what I said could hurt others. I 9 them.It wasn’t much better at 10. Being disrespectful and rude, I’d do all sorts of things to hurt my parents. 11, I wanted someone to help me but I didn’t want to ask for help. So, I became even 12.One day, while looking for my earphone in my room, I found a long lost video 13. After connecting it to the TV, I found there were hundreds of videos of me, as a baby crying, dancing as a toddler, my first day of school etc. I didn’t 14 when my mom and Dad came and sat beside me, holding my hand. We enjoyed the 15 together, smiling and laughing as we 16 the good days.At night in my room I started crying, tears of 17. So what if school was bad and life seemed tough? Right now, there were people standing beside me who would be there 18 me forever and that was all that 19. I wiped the 20 and thought silently to myself—“What’s a little pain when you have so much to love?”

  试卷六
(2016•新课标Ⅱ卷)Hundreds of people have formed impressions of you through that little device(装置) on your desk. And they’ve never actually 1 you. I sometimes wished to 9 another agent. One morning, I had to 10 an immediate flight home for a family emergency. I ran into Rani’s office 11. The woman sitting at the desk, 12 my madness, sympathetically jumped up. She gave me a 13 smile, nodded while listening patiently, and then printed out the 14 immediately. “What a wonderful lady!” I thought.Rushing out 15 I called out over my shoulder, “By the way, what’s your name?” “I’m Rani,” she said. I turned around and saw a 16 woman with a big smile on her face waving to wish me a safe trip. I was 17! Why had I thought she was cold? Rani was, well, so 18.Sitting back in the car on the way to the airport, I figured it all out. Rani’s 19—her warm smile, her nods, her “I’m here for you” 20—were all silent signals that didn’t travel through wires.

  试卷三
(2016•浙江卷)During the war,my husband was stationed at an army camp in a desert in California. I went to live there in order to be 1 him. I hated the place. I had never 2 been so unhappy. The wind blew nonstop, and all the food I ate, and the very air I breathed, were 5 with sand, sand, sand!I was so sorry for myself that I wrote to my parents. I told them I was 6 and coming back home. I said I couldn’t stand it one minute longer. I 7 be in prison! My father answered my 8 with just two lines—two lines that will always sing in my 9—two lines that completely changed my life:Two men loot from prison barsOne saw the mud, the other saw the starsI read those two lines 10 I was ashamed of myself. I made up my mind I would find out what was good in my present 11; I would look for the stars.I made friends with the natives, and their 12 amazed me. They gave me presents of their favourite artworks which they had 13 to sell to tourists. I studied the delightful forms of the cactus. I watched for the desert sunsets, and 14 for seashells that had been left there millions of years ago when the desert had been an ocean 15.What brought about this 16 change in me? The desert hadn’t changed, 17 I had. I had changed my 18. And by doing so, I changed an unhappy experience into the most amazing 19 of my life. I was excited by this new world that I had discovered I had loot of my selfcreated prison and 20 the stars.
