13. one ones /the one/it/that/those
▲考点诠释
(1)one 是代词,用来代替上文中已提到的名词,以避免重复。One所代替的是同类事物中的“一个”,只能代替可数名词,相当于“a(n) + 名词”,是泛指,其复数形式是ones。the one用来代替同类事物中特指的另一个。
eg. I’m looking for a house and I like one with a garden.
I think this book is better than the one I read last time.
(2) it 所代替的是前面提到的同一事物,既可以代替可数名词,也可以代替不可数名词;还可以代替上文中的某个句子或句中的一部分。
eg.I need the bit I have no money to buy it.
He has gone out of his way to help us. We won’t forget it.
