21.The Metropolitan Museum of Art,more commonly known as"the Met",located in New York City,is the largest art museum in the United States.Its impressive permanent collection is home to over two million works,divided among seventeen specialized departments.It is among the most visited art museums in the world.The main building is one of the world's largest art galleries.On March 18,2016,the museum opened the Met Breuer Museum,greatly enriching the museum's modern and up﹣to﹣date art program.
