  一、 学生学习目标的确立依据:
  高中英语课程的目标以义务教育一至五级的目标为基础,共有四个级别(六至九级)的目标要求,本节课是为高一学生设置,语言技能目标设定为六级目标
  1. 说:能传递信息并就熟悉的话题表达看法;
  2. 读:能从一般文字资料中获取主要信息;能根据阅读目的使用不同的阅读策略;
  3. 写:能简单地描述人物或事件,并简单地表达自己的意见;能对所写内容进行修改。
  二、 教材阅读材料分析:
  B3M3主要介绍了一些自然灾害情况,在Introduction部分,对flood、hurricane、lightning、thunderstorm以及tornado进行了简单的了解,在阅读部分对tornado、hurricane通过下定义、发生时间、地点以及造成的危害进行描述,并通过一件灵异的事件让我们了解了飓风的威力。
  三、学情分析:
  我们很多学生英语基础薄弱,词汇量小,对一些故事性情节不强的文章不感兴趣,尤其是文章里又含有一些不太熟悉地名、人名时。但是近几年自然灾害时有发生,给我们的生活造成一定的影响,如何积极地应对并减少其危害,是学生们感兴趣的话题。这就要求教师设计出令人感兴趣的导入及逐步递进。
  四、 学习目标:
  1. 通过阅读课文,100%学生能从文本中获取主要信息,90%的学生能掌握有关龙卷风和飓风的词语及基本细节。
  2. 通过长难句子的学习分析后,70%的学生能通过What,where,when以及the result 描述龙卷风和飓风的基本情况并如何给龙卷风和飓风下定义。
  3. 70%的学生在完成阅读任务之后,能通过What,where,when以及the result这几方面来描述地震这一自然灾害现象,并形成书面文字
  三、 学习方法:
  1. 利用略读和查读,学会迅速捕捉信息。
  2. 通过精读,学会对材料进行理解、分析、综合加工。
  五: 学习评价:
  以小组作为评价单位,从小组合作情况到各目标的达成情况相结合进行评价,评价活动贯穿本节课的始终。
  六、 教学过程设计
  (一)Leading in
