  The Three Gorges Dam教学设计
  一、本节内容的地位、作用:
  本节课是本模块教学的第二课时,由Reading and vocabulary部分构成,围绕着本单元模块的中心话题“The Three Gorges Dam”,课标要求通过学习不仅增进学生对三峡大坝的了解,而且学生能够得到更多关于这一建设的利弊的情况进行思考,开阔眼界,增强民族自豪感。
  二、本节内容分析:
  本节课在设计上体现了听说读写四种技能的综合运用。课前通过播放“长江三峡”的视频引导学生对长江三峡的了解为学习课文做铺垫,再通过伟人毛泽东游泳的图片导入本模块中心话题“The Three Gorges Dam”,唤起了学生求知的欲望,阅读的热情。阅读部分采用了任务型教学的方式,让学生体验和运用语言。随后将听说结合起来,让学生懂得如何谈论这一建设的利弊的情况。接着通过小组合作的形式,在生动的应用活动中理解所学的知识并解决实际问题,同时促进语言知识、交际技能与情感体验的衔接。最后给学生布置了把对话内容写成一段小文章的写作任务。
  三.学习目标( Learning Aims):
  1.Master the words and phrases ;canal,gorge,hydro-electric,reservoir,construction,relic,generate,harness,historical, poem,submerge,dream of,come true,hold back
  2. To improve the Ss’ reading ability.
  3.Let the students know and tell about more about advantages and disadvantages of the Three Gorges Dam.
  Important points:  Full understanding of the text by using different reading skills.
  Difficult points:   How to improve the students’ abilities and talk in class actively.
  四.教学过程(Teaching producers:)
  在教学过程中,可以把本节课的教学内容设计为六个步骤:
  Step 1. Leading-in
  Ask the Ss to look at a picture and enjoy a poem
