The movie has been followed by four sequels（续集）. Die Hard set the standard for many other action movies.

　　It’s directed by James Cameron starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. An advanced terminator is sent from the future to kill John, son of Sarah Connor(Hamilton). Arnold Schwarzenegger, a less advanced terminator is also sent from the future to protect John. The movie has won 4 Academy Awards. It was also one of the first movies to have partially computer—generated character in a lead role. Terminator 2—Judgement Day(1991) is succeeded by two more sequels.

　　Directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski, starring Reeves and Laurence Fishburne, The Matrix is set in the future where the world is taken over by machines, which harvest humans to get energy. Neo, a computer programmer(played by Reeves), joins hands in the uprising against machines. The Matrix has been followed by two sequels. It has been praised for the pioneering use of special visual effects. It has won four Academy Awards.

　　Directed by Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill: Vol. 1 is first of the two series movie. A bride is shot on her wedding day by her former boss. She destroys everyone on her way to kill Bill. If you like to see fights and swords play, you are going to enjoy it.

　　From my second grade on, there was one event I feared every year: the piano recital（独奏会）. A recital meant I had to practice a boring piece of music and perform before strangers who knew the notes much better than I. Each year I would ask my father if I could skip the recital “just this once”. And each year he’d shake his head, muttering（嘀咕）something about building self-confidence and working towards a goal.
