By the end of the class, students are able to:
(1) describe the importance of Timoteo Apaza's job.
(2) summarize how to apply Timoteo Apaza's responsibility to their work and keep a persistent attitude to whatever they do.

(1) To skim the text for the main idea of each paragraph.
(2) To scan the text for specific information.
III. Difficult Points
(1) How to grasp the main idea and specific information by skimming and scanning.
(2) How to summarize the importance of Timoteo Apaza’s job.

V. Teaching Procedures
Step I Greetings
Greet the whole class as usual.
Step II Warm-up (4 mins)
Review the words related to jobs that we have learnt in the introduction part.
Last class we have talt some words about jobs in the introduction part. Do you still remember them? Now, let’s have a review together. So, I will show some pictures on the screen and I hope you can speat the words, OK?
Step III Lead in (4 mins)
Asdents to look at the picture on page 12 and have a discussion, then answer the following questions.
Just now, we have reviewed a kind of job, called "volunteer", right? Are you willing to be a volunteer? If the condition permits, I hope so. But there is such a person. He chooses a job without pay. Now, look at the picture on page 12, and then answer the questions of activity 2.
Q1. Where is the man standing?
Q2. What is he holding in his hand?
Q3. Can the bus driver see the lorry?
