教学设计
一、教学目标
1.通过英文释义了解中西方主要节日(Carnival,Holi,Halloween,Thanksgiving Day,Christmas,The Spring Festival,The Lantern Festival,Tomb-sweeping Day,Dragon Boat Festival,Double Seventh Festival,Mid-Autumn Festival)。通过上下文推测,能基本识记新单词(costume, extend, pretend, revive, wander, confusion, memory)。
2.通过跳读,弄清文章的主要信息;并通过扫读,理解文本各部分的主要大意。
3.在教师的引导下,能够概括出节日介绍的基本结构,进而逐步掌握节日说明文的写作技巧。
4.通过表达对节日特色物的喜好,练习使用I love…, I really like…, I quite like…, I don’t thinch of…, I hate…, I dislike…等表达。
5.能够按照要求进行小组分工合作,并能结合所学语言以及写作技巧,有条理的口头介绍“中秋节”。
二、教学方法
本节课运用了任务型教学法。在语言输入阶段,句子填空、回答问题、排列顺序和图画辨识等形式使学生思路明确,语言丰富。在任务输出时,引入小组间的评价机制,在教师的整体调控和协助下,学生主要以小组分工合作的方式,通过看图会话、段落仿写、图示填写、英汉对译等过程,完成最后的教学任务。
三、任务设计
本次的课时任务模拟真情实景:老师与其美国朋友的照片的展示旨在激发学生课堂参与的积极性:
用英语向老师的朋友Arun介绍中国的传统节日“中秋节”是本节课的总任务。在任务的具体设置上我采取化整为零的方式,共包含五个分任务。
任务一:描述中秋节的气氛。
任务二:描述中秋节的起源。
任务三:介绍中秋节的传说。
任务四:介绍中秋节的特色食物。
任务五:介绍你对特色食物的喜好。
四、教学流程设计
环节一:导入任务,展示任务(预设时间2分钟)
【教师活动1】请出面具人,激起学生的好奇心,引出课文主题。
First, let’s play a game. Guess who he is? I am sure you know him. Take off your mask. Wow…So think why you didn’t know who he was just now. Yes, because he is wearing the mask. This is the mystery of the mask. Ok, mask is the theme of our class. The title of the text is The Magic of the Mask.
【学生活动1】集体朗读任务要求,对本课时的任务做到心中有数。
As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, one of my friends, Arun, will visit me from America next weeld like to invite him to our class. He is eager to know about our traditional festivals, especially the Mid-Autumn Day, from you. So our task is to prepare for our introduction this class.
环节二:阅读文本,分解任务(预设时间30分钟)
【教师活动2】引导学生得出任务开头写作模式,并出示图片来帮助学生确定中国的几个主要传统节日。
China has several traditional festivals, such as ___________, ___________, ___________, ___________, ___________, __________, _________.
【学生活动2】学生根据所给节日的图片用准确的英语回答出节日的名称,包括它们的节日特色。
【设计意图】这一步紧扣任务中Arun想了解中国传统节日这一点,设计上采用了图画提示的形式,通过节日特色激活学生脑中的储备,拓展学生的思路。比如,清明节的牧童图会使学生联想起杜牧的《清明》。这为美国朋友的来访积累了更广泛的话题。
【评价说明】由于预习学案中出现了节日与其特色的英语对应练习,因此本环节总体来说不难,但要准确地用英语表达则非易事。如果学生能完美的完成,那绝对值得表扬。所以评价的原则是从大处着眼。只要知道节日就算基本合格,节日特色仍需老师来引领,采用的评价方式为教师评价。
【教师活动3】阅读第一自然段,进行段落缺词填空,加深对狂欢节气氛的了解。

【学生活动3】在学案上填写关键词。

【设计意图】课文的段落安排完全符合节日介绍的各个环节。第一
