教学反思
一是备课充分,在全面把握教学内容的基础上,突出重点知识,注重落实。二是在教学环节的设计上,从词、到句、到篇,遵循由易到难、循序渐进的原则,在提问、解答的过程中,对学生进行启发、引导,帮助学生树立自信。三是在授课过程中,营造良好的学习环境,让学生在和谐、平等的氛围中轻松学习。
需改进之处:由于第二环节所使用的时间超出预期,所以第三环节只让两名学生进行交流展示,本应该给更多学生展示的机会。在各个环节的时间分配上应更加科学合理,充分考虑各种可能出现的情况,处理好预设与生成的关系,使学生自我复习的时间更加充分。
教学设计
本节课为词汇学习课。词汇是语言学习的基础和保障,也是部分同学在英语学习中有困难的一个环节。本节课的设计主要分为三个环节:课前自主学习、课堂合作探究、运用巩固提升。这三个环节由易到难,由熟悉词汇到陌生词汇,由简单认知到领会运用,层层递进,步步提升。在掌握与单元话题相关词汇顺利阅读的前提下,提升学生灵活运用语言的能力。
I. 教学目标
1. 掌握所有词汇的发音,做到“ 听其音知其形,见其形知其音,观其音知其义。
2. 掌握重点词汇和短语的用法。
II. 教学流程:
1. 课前自主学习
(1)word formation 运用构词法知识判断和记忆派生词及合成词的词义和词类,达到温故而知新的目的。
(2)phrases 通过短语的英汉互译的形式先让学生初步掌握这些短语的意义。
(3)呈现部分简单短语的使用语境,帮过翻译和完成句子。这一部分有adjust to, keep it up, fit in, settle in.
2. 课堂合作探究
(1)话题导入。通过展示老师出国学习的照片导入本单元话题,并在此过程中使用部分本单元词汇,课堂用语的使用尽量也重复出现本单元词汇和表达方式。
(2)预习回顾和检测:检查学生的发音并适当纠正,构词法和短语让学生把答案写在黑板上,全体同学一起检查订正并趁机巩固。
(3)部分词汇和短语的相关表达拓展。如visa application, queue jumper, lecture hall, qualification certificate. Bachelor of laws,Bachelor of Arts,Bachelors’ Day把单个词和之前学习过的词搭配成常用表达方式,并与学生记忆和使用。这是组块学习的方法,这种方法有利于学生用英语思维和表达。
(4)重点词汇短语的探究运用。通过学案导学的方式,让学生小组合作学习完成相关任务,小组展示学习结果,教室点评讲解并适当拓展。
(5). 当堂检测。通过检测了解学生本节课的掌握情况,并发现他们在语言运用中还存在哪些问题,及时纠正。
