1. To get Ss to talk something about the films and TV programmes.
4. To help Ss learn how to write a movie review.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1. Greetings and leading-in:
Purpose: To check whether Ss master the words of types of movies or not.
To let Ss have a discussion about the types of the films and TV programmes.
1. What do you do in your spare time(空闲时间)?
2. Listen and guess
Students will be asked to listen to some voices and guess what the types of the film and TV programmes are.
3. Look at the poster of this film and find some information about it!
Students will get some basic information about the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Purpose: To improve Ss’ reading skills.

Read the film review quickly and choose the best summary of the film in Activity 2 on P52.
