　　 Teaching objectives:
　　On finishing the lesson, the students will be able to
　　☆Knowledge aims : use some key words and expressions to describe the films: poster, thriller, comedy, adventure, cartoon, martial arts, actress, actor, male, female, interest, interesting, interested, moving, moved, plot, play the part of, belong to ,tell of , be/fall in love , take place ,etc.
　　☆Ability aims: improve the speaking skills through learning vocabulary. And have the knowledge of the suffix of words:-or,- ing, -ed.
　　☆Emotional aims: find the message expressed in the films.
　　 Important points in teaching:
　　Ss can master some key words and expressions about films.
　　 Difficult points in teaching:
　　Ss can memorize the pronunciation and use these words and expressions to introduce the films in the class.
　　 Teaching methods:
　　Communicative Language Teaching
　　Task-based Teaching     
　　Situational Teaching.
　　 Teaching aids:
　　Multimedia, a blackboard and some handouts.
　　 Teaching Procedure:
　　Step 1 Leading-in
　　1) Greet the Ss and welcome the teachers.
　　2) Introduce the topic and the learning aims of the period.
　　3) Show a video about films.
　　★ Purposes of design: a. To make the Ss realize the topic and the learning aims of this class..
　　b. To arouse the interest of students and lead in the topic.
　　Step 2: Ask Ss the types of their favorite films.             
　　★ Purpose of design: To make the Ss’ understanding about the types of films.
　　Step3: Listen to the tape and read the words and expressions following the tape.
　　★ Purpose of design: To let Ss master the pronunciation of the words and       expressions.
　　Step4: Look at some different pictures and guess the types of films.
　　★ Purpose of design: To strengthen the Ss ’s understanding of the film types
　　Step4: Show some pictures of director and actors and explain the noun with suffix -or.
　　1) Change the word about a person from verb to noun by adding suffix -or.

　　2) Change the words about feeling from verb to adjective by adding suffix -ing ; -ed.
