　　本模块为外研版必修一的第一模块，主要介绍一位高中新生第一天到校观察和接触到的人和事物以及个人的感受。模块以My First Day at Senior High 为话题来讨论高中的学校新生活，教学内容紧密结合学生的实际情况，学生对这样的话题非常感兴趣、有亲切感，因而学生很乐于学习。阅读文章 My First Day at Senior High 是本模块的一个教学重点。通过阅读，让学生学习一些重点词汇和句型，理解课文所传递的信息，让学生对老师、班级，学生以及学校等情况的英语表达有一个初步的了解。
