　　Step 1 Welcome to the unit
　　T: Everyone wants to be healthy and attractive. Everyone wants to feel good and look good. Now please open your books and turn to page 41.Look at the four pictures and describe them.
　　S1:In the first picture, a girl is selecting clothes. She wants to buy a blouse that will make her look slimmer. She finally chooses a yellow blouse. She thinks the yellow blouse makes her lootiful and slimmer.  
　　S2: In Picture2, a boy is practicing weightlifting with all his energy. He thinks weightlifting can make him feel very strong and keep him healthy.
　　S3: In Picture3, a doctor is giving a girl some advice. The girl looks very tired and perhaps she is ill because of lacking sleep. The doctor tells her she must get enough sleep to stay healthy.
　　S4: In Picture4, a boy is eating a banana with an apple in the right hand. In his opinion, eating more fruit can make one feel better. As a saying goes, “An apple every day can keep a doctor away.”
　　T: You have done a good job.
　　Step 2 Discussion
　　T: Now please look at the pictures and discuss the questions below with your partner. Are they good –looking? Why or why not?
