　　What do British students do in their leisure time? The most popular activity must be party, such as birthday party, after-exam party and house party. Sometimes, they don't even need a reason to throw a party. From the very beginning of the term to the end of the exam, student societies, students and schools organize many parties, balls and dinners in which alcohol never gets removed from the drinks. I went to many house parties, birthday parties and the great end-of-term party held in the Student Union Building. They were unforgettable experiences for my study in the U.K.
　　Apart from parties, British students also participate in societies, sports and voluntary work. Except for societies similar to Chinese ones which are related to students' hobbies, such as basketball, debating and painting, some societies are more likely to be found in western countries, such as horse riding, cheerleading and extreme sports. As for voluntary work, it has developed into a fully functional well-organized financial sector. There're many charity shops which sell second-hand clothes, bootensils. Those shops both offer paid jobs for full-time workers and also part-time voluntary jobs for students.
