　　When you are in a foreign country, it's common for you to make mistakes when you don’t know the local etiquette (礼仪).

　　In some cultures, giving the wrong amount of an item can be worse than no present at all. Do not give even numbers of flowers as a gift in Russia because that’s for dead people. Odd numbers of flowers are given for happy occasions, like one, three, five or seven flowers.

　　When it comes to humor, people in some countries warned visitors not to take it too seriously. Mexico is such a place where people like to laugh at others. The best family dinners are the ones where everyone is laughing out loud at man of someone at the table. They don’t mean to harm. They just do it for fun. So visitors should feel accepted not offended.
