1) 能听懂有关消费和购物的内容,并从中获取相关信息,为以后的写作准备材料。
2) 能流利的进行有关购物活动的英语对话。

了解给予和分享的含义,思考帮助他人的途径。
教学重难点:

2. 能熟练地用英语进行有关购物的交流。
教学步骤:
Part One Spending your pocket money
Step 1 Free talk
Have a free talk. “How do you spend your pocket money?”
Step 2 Listening and matching
1.Show the pictures in Part A on Page84.
2.Play the tape for the students to listen.
3.Match the things with the people .Check the answer.
Part Two Helping the poor
Step 3 Presentation
1.Present some pictures of students in poor areas. Teach “poor” and “area”.
2.Talt the students’ life: Do they have any pocket money ? Teach “stationery, notebook and writing paper”
Step 4. Listening and writing.
1. Get students to listen and fill in the blanks in Part B1 on Page 84..
2. Check the answer.
Step 5. Presentation
1. Asdents if we can do something to help these poor children.
2. Show students some pictures and teach “donate, raise and collect”
3. Tell students that Simon and Millie also want help these poor children in our country after reading an advertisement.
Step 6. Reading and writing
1. Get students to read the advertisement on page 84 and answer 3 questions.
2. Get students to complete the letter and then check the answer.
3. Read the letter.
Part Three: Buying shoes and clothes.
Step 7.Presentation
Show students a picture, say “We know Simon always spends his pocket money on sports shoes. Today he wants to buy a new pair of football boots.” Teach “football boots”.
Step 8. Listening and answering
Get students to listen to the tape and then answer 3 questions.
Step 9. Reading and Practicing
1. Get students to read after the tape sentence by sentence.
2. Get students to read and practice the dialogue together and then in groups.
Step10. Map new dialogues
Get students to talt the items in Part C2,map their own dialogues and then act them out.
Step 11 Group work (If time permits)
A. 根据下列提示编写一段对话并表演出来。
王兰打算买一条尺寸为24号的牛仔裤,可试穿后发现有点小。店主给她换了26号的,大小正合适,但价格为90元。王兰嫌贵,询问是否有折扣,店主打了折卖给她。
