  Patterns 1. Roy laughed too, a loud happy laugh.
  2. I felt shy and lonely at my new school.
  3. We trusted each other and we could talt personal matters, things that were important to us.
  4. Roy, who had always been very close to his father, changed pletely, being silent and moody.

  ▇Warming up by learning about “friendship”
  Hello, class. We are friends now. But do you know:
  What “friendship”is?
  What “an interpersonal relationship”is?
  Friendship is a human relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection. Friends will wele each other’s pany and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of putting the other’s interests before one’s own. Their tastes will be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors.
