  Cope With Annoying Dog Owners
Most people will tolerate the occasional barking of a neighbour's dog. But if your neighbour's animals are creating a problem, such as threatening dogsroam(闲逛)freely around the neighbourhood which are off leash (未栓链条), bark every night, poop(大便)everywhere, or even sniffyour kids and startle them to cry, you may decide to take action.
The best option is to talk to the neighbour responsible for the offending animal politely. For example, Neighbour A's dog, normally quiet and well-behaved, begins barking nonstop and acting aggressivelywhen walt of the house early in the morning. The dog's barking wap Neighbour B next-door, who becomessleeplessand anxious. After the two neighbours discuss the problem, NeighbourA agrees to wait until later in the morning to walk her dog and keep it on leash.Problem solved!
If your neighbour's animals are creating a problem that cannot be solved through discussion and negotiation, you may have to turn to the local council, for there are some laws regulating how people can keep animals in residential areas (住宅区), such as requirement to clean up after the pets, leash the dogs and have the pets vaccinated against rabies(接种狂犬疫苗), etc.

  Decoration Fuels Neighbour Conflicts
If your neighbour is going to decorate their apartment, you may face real headache.Thint it, people living next door to a house or apartment under decoration or construction must deal with noise, dust and toxic fumes (有毒烟尘)that can last for months, if not years, each one causing its share of headaches. What’s more, the demolition (拆除) process can alsoaffect the structureof the building, especially when workers dig deeper to gain space. If not handled correctly, that process can cause adjacent(临近的)homes to sink, so doors no longer shut properly.
It’s obvious that decoration may lead to conflicts among neighbours. How to avoid the problems? First, put up a notice to inform your neighbours of the decoration; Second, decoration is quite noisy – especially if it’s repeated on a daily basis – or on the weekends! So strictly follow the time schedule: use electric tools between 8 am and 6pm – but stop construction on weekends and during important exams. Last but not least, get rid of the garbage in time!
