　　By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
　　 Read and spell some new words (smiling, dark, general, fat, pleasant) and know the meaning of ponytail, appearance and neat.
　　Understand the phrases (smiling eyes, wear a smile on one’s face, dark brown) and the sentences (I believe she’ll be a very good teacher.)
　　 Use different adjectives to describe people’s appearance, personality and abilities, make the writing plan clear, and write an article about their best friends on their own
　　 Enjoy making friends, appreciate friends’good qualities, and treasure their friendship
