　　Unit 20 New Frontiers-Language Awareness (1课时) 教案

　　本课为北师大模块7 第20单元New Frontiers- Language Awareness 5: reference-pronouns （P29）。根据本课的重点内容（在语篇阅读中理解具有指代作用的各种代词的用法），确定本课为阅读与语法（代词）结合的以阅读促进语法学习的语法综合归纳与复习课型，设计为1课时。
　　设计思路和意图: 本课阅读文章是对一处英国旅游名胜（South Shropshire 南什罗普郡）的介绍。
　　首先，文章描述性语言和描写地方的空间手法很优美，很值得学生学习和模仿，并就此写一篇介绍我国旅游名胜的文章。如第二段中，作者用具体的动作词汇及体现距离或方位的副词，介词等，由远及近地引导读者进入古朴优美的Ludlow小镇：a tower, seen from miles and miles away; cross the bridge; enter the town through a gate; find yourself in Broad Street; 又如第4段中，作者又用了带定语从句的介词短语结构（写作得高分之结构）和几个介词，寥寥数语就勾勒出了South Shropshire 美丽的旷野，背包客的天堂。South Shropshire is also a walkers’ paradise, with Mortimer’s Trail that goes from Ludlow through Mortimer’s Forest to the Welsh border.
　　另外，本文由一定的生词，可通过图片形式，让学生直观体会到南什罗普郡的美丽，同时又理解了生词，为阅读理解扫清了障碍，还可通过图片让学生预测本文的内容。
　　再有，本文由于提及的具体名胜古迹的名称较多，文章篇章结构虽然规整，但如果没有对文章整体和主要细节内容的知识提取，整理，直接进入语法（代词）的理解环节，比较突兀，学生即便理解了各个代词的用法和在本文的指代关系，其阅读所得的信息是凌乱和缺乏联系的，不利于对本文内容和思想的全局把握。
　　因此，本课设计为整体阅读（主要涉及预测，寻读，笔记等阅读策略），提取整理主要信息后，再按课本（P29）所提供的练习，帮助学生在阅读理解中加深对代词的理解，并为将来学生进一步运用代词的指代作用更好地进行阅读理解做好铺垫。
　　最后，本文虽然涉及各类代词，但在实际课堂，考试和生活中，学生更关心的是对一些代词的具体区别和辨析。因此，本课关于代词用法的一个重点就是归纳并区分几组考查频率较高的代词。
