    Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I’m glad to be here sharing some of my teaching ideas. Today my tasnit 4 Topic 3 Section C Part 3 written work, taken from Project English, Grade Nine. The requirement of this written work is that according to what you know about Mars, imagine the life there and write a passage about it. And my speech will include 6 parts which are the analysis of teaching materials, the analysis of students, the analysis of the teaching and learning methods, the analysis of teaching process, and contents on the blackboard.
  I Analysis of teaching materials First of all, please allow me to analize my teaching material.
  1.Function and position: unit 4 Amazing scienainly talt spaceships, puters,  inventions, aliens, Mars, outer space and so on. Unit 4 Topic 3 Section C is nearly the end of this unit. The requirement of part 3 is to write a passage about the life on Mars.It is an entitled writing  which can contain a lot of things we have learnt in this unit. It requires students’ creative ability and logic thinking ability. Students’ thinking can be trained and students’ innovative ability will be improved during this period. It is a writing class, but I will also improve the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading during this period. Writing is not a single link. We should regard the four skills as a whole language learning method.
  Therefore, I have established three objectives for this class, namely the knowledge-learning target, The abilities-cultivating target and The moral-penetrating target.
  2.Teaching aims:
  The knowledge-learning target: Help students master the structure of a passage and the skills of writing. Write a passage about the life on Mars.
  The abilities-cultivating target: 1) cultivate students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities. 2)Tain students’ writing skills 3)cultivate students' creative ability, logical thinking and cooperative consciousness.
  The moral-penetrating target: foster students’ active attitude towards science and writing, encourage students to write something positively and confidently. 
  3. The focus and difficult points:
  how to arouse students’ interest and imagination for writing, madents master the skills of writing and organize a passage with a good structure. Every student can write something about the life on Mars confidently.
  II Analysis of the students
  Students in Grade Nine are in different levels. Many students find writing is difficult. Many students have no consciousness on the passage structure. many ideas and sentences are scattered and not organized. They don’t know how to organize a reasonable passage. Because of their poor writing ability many students from the country are faced with the junior linking problem. Writing is meaningful for students’ English continuous learning.
