Your body, which has close relations with the food you eat, is the most important thing you own. So it needs proper treatment and proper nourishment(营养). The old saying “An apple a day keeps the doctors away.” is not as silly as some people think. The body needs fruits and vegetables because they contain vitamin C.
Many people take extra vitamins in pill form (片剂), believing that this will make them healthy. But a good diet is made up of nourishing food and this gives all the vitamins you need. The body does not need or use extra vitamins. So why waste money on them?
In the modern Western world, many people are too busy to bother about eating properly. They throw anything into their stomachs, eating hurriedly and carelessly. The list of illnesses caused or made worse by bad eating habits is frightening.

Country music usually talks of everyday life and feelings. It's the spirit of America, easy to understand, slow and simple.
Country music developed in the Southern United States. It was the folsic of American countryside. Many of songs tell about the lives of farmers. They talt love, crops or death.
The life of the countryside can be hard, so the words in country music are often sad. At first, people played the music only at family parties. But it became more popular later. In the 1920s, people played country songs on the radio, and they made them into records.
When people in the countryside moved to towns and cities to look for work, they took their music with them. Country music continued to change and became popular across America.

Fewer Americans are reading newspapers and more Americans are instead getting their news online, but television remains the leading source of news in the country, according to a survey.
Not surprisingly, younger people tend to get more of their news on the Internet, while older people use traditional media such as television and newspapers, the Pew Research Center's survey on the ways of getting news said. Pew said the results show an increasing change toward getting news online, but that there is now a fairly large group of better-off people that use both traditional and online sources to get their news. The Pew researchers referred to these people as integrators (整合者), and said they accounted for 23 percent of those surveyed, spending the most time getting news on a typical day.
“Like Net news consumers, integrators are highly educated. However, they are older.” the survey said.
Pew found that the largest group of news consumers — 46 percent of those surveyed — watch television for their news at all times of the day. This group is the oldest, with an average age of 52, with 43 percent unemployed. They are unlikely to own a computer or go online for news.
The group that relies most on the Internet for news is the youngest at a median age of 35. It is also the smallest group,at 13 percent of those surveyed. Fewer than half of them watch television news regularly.
The survey was conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates International. It surveyed 3,615 adults by telephone.
