Lesson 25 I Want to Be a Teacher

Teaching procedures:
Step 1. Leading in
Discuss the topic of Unit 5 with the students. “Future” is an exciting topic to the students. The brainstorm will be very exciting. Lead the students to talt the following ways:
1. What do you want to do in the future?
2. What are you good at?
3. Do you want to be a teacher when you are older? Why?
4. What do you thinr partner will be when he is older? Why?
Step 2. Come to “THINT IT!”
1. What are you good at?
2. What do you want to do in the future?
Let the students write what you are thinking on the paper. Then exchange their ideas with the partners.
Step 3. Listening
Listen to the tape and answer the following questions:
1. What do Li Ming and Wang Mei do in the future?
2. Why do they suit those jobs?
Step 4. Reading
Finish off Exercise2 in “Let 's Do It!” and Retell the text
Step 5. Let some volunteers act it out in front of the class.
Step 6. Homework
Thint your life in the future. Share your ideas in a small group. Where will you live? What will your job be? Will you be happy? Why?
Write your answers down first. Then report it to the class.

一、说教材:
各位老师:大家晚上好! 让学生愉快地、充满自信地走进我的英语课堂,是我最大的愿望,让学生在我的英语课堂上享受快乐和成功是我孜孜以求的。我今天要说的是河北教育版教材八年级上册第五单元的第25课。本单元主要围绕“My future”这一话题展开各种教学活动,通过情景表演、与老师交流的方式了解目标与愿望的相关知识。通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合语言运用能力。
二、说教学目标:
根据《英语课程标准》的教学理念,教材特点以及八年级学生的实际情况,本课的教学目标确立为:
1、本课要求学生记住并灵活运用以下新词汇及短语
might , grow, scientist, engineer scary, so is…
It’s + adj. +(not) to do sth in the future “在将来”。
2、能用英语叙述the life in the future的方法。
三、说教学重、难点:
根据课程标准要求,教材编排特点,并从学生的实际出发,本课的重点与难点确定如下:
教学重点:新词汇、固定词组搭配
教学难点:运用重点单词和短语叙述自己未来生活的方法。
四、说教学过程:
因为我确定词汇,固定短语的灵活运用为重点.运用重点单词和短语叙述未来生活方法为难点,为了更好地达成目标,突出重点,突破难点,根据中学生的认知特点,下面我重点说一下教学过程。
本课的教学过程设计为以下六大环节:
1、课前准备我先行!
根据中学生的认知规律,也为新课做好铺垫,在上节课中布置预习任务,预习的具体要求为:预习本课的生词,泛读课文,了解课文大意并找出重点短语和句子。
2、单词闯关我厉害!
在这个过程中,我点击课件,就会出现重点单词的汉语意思,组内抢答并计分,在此环节,我采用了分层计分法,即把学生分层,C类学生答对分数最高,达到了兵教兵的热潮,也就是说要想组内得高分,必须教会C类同学,让他们去回答。同时也为后面的
