5. use the prepositions of movement to describe movements which happen in their daily life, such as walt of the classroom, walk down the stairs, ride past a post office etc.

A. Madents realize what prepositions of movement are by telling students how I come to their school with the help of some pictures, such as : walk down the stairs, get into a car, go along the road, run through the tunnel, go past Yuhua Tai, get to the school.
B. Write down the preps (from, to, down, into, along, through, past) on the blackboard and elicit prepositions of movement.
StepⅢ Presentation
A. Present the following prepositions of movement by showing pictures: into, out of, across, over, through, round, towards, past, along, up, down.
B. Give students five sentences to have a try and then wort the rules : We use prepositions of movement after verbs.
C. Compare several pairs of easy confused words, encourage students to find out and tell the differences between them.

A. Book Page48. Set a situation. Suppose that Mr Wu and his students are having a happy holiday. Show pictures and asdents to tell “What are they doing?” and “Why are they doing so?” to encourage students to speak more.
