  课堂教学设计
  一、学生课前、课外活动设计:
  1. 预习和本节课有关的词汇,扫除词汇障碍。
  2. 让学生通过小组协作,并且通过网络和其他的一些渠道了解克隆的一些基本情况。找有关克隆的辅助材料,如介绍克隆的文章、名人资料,帮助老师营造氛围。
  3.以小组为单位,分工合作,通过到图书馆查阅资料或者利用网络,查找更多克隆的相关信息,为本小组赢得辩论做充足的准备。
  二、课堂教学设计:
  设计意图
  In this period, let students know about cloning. And then they will be guided to read the passage—Cloning: Where is it leading us?. This passage is a factual piece of writing. It explaining some of the reasons why cloning is still controversial.
  Warming Up is a cartoon about cloning to lead to the subject.
  Pre-reading presents the concept of clone and some pictures about cloning and a video about 10 facts of cloning to arouse students’ curiosity about the passage and to activate student’s bacnd knowledge.
  Reading is a factual piece of writing. It explaining some of the reasons why cloning is still controversial. The passage consists of the procedure of animal cloning, the life of Dolly the sheep, the advantages and disadvantages of cloning and some of the reasons why cloning is still controversial.
  教学目标
  1. To learn about the procedure of cloning
  2. To develop Ss’ reading skills of skimming and scanning
  3. To grasp the advantages and disadvantages of cloning

  教学过程
  Step I.Lead-in
  (设计意图:通过漫画快速导入话题,引起学生对clone的兴趣,激活学生的思维。)
  1. T: This class we will deal with the reading “ Cloning: Where is it leading us?”.
  T: First, let’s look at a cartoon about cloning.
  T & S: Look at a cartoon about cloning together
  2. T: Now let’s see what clone is and the two kinds of cloning.
  课后自我反思
  本节课是阅读课,让学生对克隆这个熟悉的话题有了更多的了解,包括克隆的过程、Dolly the sheep的生活和克隆的优缺点及争议的原因。在本节课中设置了不同形式的问题,来帮助学生理解课文,使学生能够用所学的词汇与句式,并学会有条理地说出甚至是写出对于克隆的不同观点。指导学生利用Skimming和Scanning的阅读方法,通过“略读—细读—精读”的阅读手段,培养学生的阅读技巧和技能,帮助学生养成良好的阅读习惯。本节课是关于cloning的基本情况,通过学习课文,学生的知识面得到拓宽,提高他们的阅读积极性,增进了学生对于时事的理解能力,提高了学生的人文素养。在本节课的阅读中还分小组活动,有利于学生发展与人沟通和合作的能力,把自己的进步和团队的荣誉紧密结合。
  课后对学生当堂学习效果的评测,使学生对自己本节课所学内容有正确的理解,有助于学生监控、调整自己的学习目标和学习策略,有助于学生增强英语学习的信心;但是我本人感觉结尾有些仓促,评价可以更合理、科学有效,在今后的教学中会更进一步探索、实践更多元化的评价方法。
