　　本单元围绕着“最喜欢的科目“这一话题展开，围绕“what, why, who三个特殊疑问词”开展了多种形式的教学活动。教材以学生的学习经验和兴趣为出发点，语言素材来源于学生的实际生活，目的是通过这一单元的学习，让学生学会谈论自己喜爱的学科及其他事物并说出理由，学会一周七天的表达法，学会合理安排自己的作息时间。教师在教学过程中可以帮助学生调整偏科的倾向，使学生能全面发展。Section A 是本单元的第一部分，也是本单元的重点。SectionA的内容计划三节课讲完，本课是第一课时，在这一节课里，要求学生能够学会以下内容:
　　一、Teaching aims
　　Knowledge aims：
　　1. New words: subject, science, P.E., music, art, geography, math, history, because, why.
　　Adjectives: fun, interesting, boring, difficult, relaxing.
　　2. Master the following sentences：
　　（1）--- What’s your favorite subject?
　　--- My favorite subject is …..
　　--- It’s……
　　（2）--- Why do you like …..?
　　--- Because it’s …..
　　Ability aims：
　　1. Learn how to talt preferences and give reasons.
　　2. Master some listening sse the target language to do listening practice.
　　Affective aims
　　Tell the students to learn their subjects well and love their teachers.

　　主要以多媒体辅助教学，自制课件，增加了直观性和趣味性，加大了课堂容量，提高了课效率。

　　以启发式，任务型、探究式，合作式教学方法为主线，让学生通过“观察—模仿—实践”的方法学会本课的中心内容，展开以学生为中心的师生互动活动，真正体现新课程的理念。
　　六、Teaching steps:
　　Step1. Preparation
　　Lead in with interesting questions: What’s your favorite fruit? What’s your favorite color? What is your favorite sport? Show pictures in ppt. Students listen to the teacher’s questions and answer the questions.
　　And then show the new unit: My favorite subject is science.
　　因为本节课学生将学到一些有关科目的新单词，将用到一些以前学过的有关句型和单词，进行问答练习，导入新课。
　　Step2. Presentation
　　1. Ss learn the new words of Unit 9 by themselves.
　　2. The teacher raises a question: What subject is it? And show some pictures about subjects in ppt. Ss learn the subjects.
　　3. Say the subjects quickly.
　　4. And then ask Ss to finish the excise 1a.
　　教师出示图片，鼓励学生在老师开口之前说出单词，并看看能不能有学生说出新单词并正确拼写。如果有则要对此学生进行表扬，并呼吁其他学生向其学习。以此引出本课中的新单词，接着教师可将新单词呈现给学生看，并让学生将单词与图片配对。这样既可帮学生理解新单词的含义也可帮助学生记忆。教师对学生较难理解的单词可再领读或讲解。.
　　在学生能大概能正确读音后，教师可利用ppt图片进行问答练习，以此巩固学生的所学。
　　Step 3 Practice
　　1. Listen and circle the subjects you hear.
　　2 Show the main sentence structure in ppt.

　　3. The teacher picp a student to read the conversation with her in 1c. And then asks Ss to read the conversation with their partners.
　　4. Asdents to make a new conversation in groups.
　　5. Ask some pairs to act out their dialogues.
　　本节课要引导学生学习what，why引导的两个句型，而七年级新教材的突出特点是每引出一个新的知识点，便将师生互动，生生互动的学习贯穿于整个教学过程中，使学生在接触，模仿，运用中将知识做到融会贯通。针对这个特点，首先引导学生来学习1a~1c的内容。
