2、学生思维活跃,能完整回答教师的提问
3、学生本身对天气已经有相对比较感性的认识,所以在进一步的学习中不会太难

Lesson 65
Aims of teaching
1. Learn the new words of this lesson
2. Master the two ways of exatory sentences led by“How”and“What”and change
each other slly
3. Review Future Tense by dialogues practice
4. Applying practice
Presentation:
Asdent or several students“What day is today?”and“What’s the date today?”Then ask them“What’s the weather like?”Can you spell it? Then the Ss answer: T says today we’re going to learn Unit 17 Lesson 65“What’s the weather like?”
Teaching Process:
1. Let the Ss look at a few pictures which is about the different weather, help them try to answer the questions like
e.g. A: What’s the weather like?
B: It’s very dry.
A: How do you spell?
B: D-r-y, dry!
(Show pictures of the weather: dry, wet, hot, cold, rainy, sunny, cloudy, windy, etc.)
2. Ask the Ss about the rule how a Noun changes into an Adjective by putting“y”after the Noun, you can change into an adjective. e.g. rain→ rainy, cloud→ cloudy. Pay attention to“sun→ sunny”.
3. Dialogue drills. Give the Ss two pictures of“hot”and“cloudy”, and then make the dialogue like this.
